Who is Asipa?
Asipa is an Orisa of purity and spiritual defense, often invoked to repel malevolent spirits and restore sacred space. She carries the energy of the shield and the fire that burns away toxins from both body and environment.
Origin — How Asipa Became Orisa
Asipa came into being when a priest called on the Orisa to protect a village from an unseen corruption. She appeared as a luminous warrior, sweeping through homes and fields until the land felt clean again.
Sacred Stories & Myths
One myth recounts Asipa saving a community from a plague by creating a sacred barrier. Another tells of her guiding a family to purify their home after a curse was placed on it.
