Ogbe Oyeku is the Odu of the good outcome that follows a genuine test. It appears for people who have been told that fortune is available to them, and who must now decide whether they are willing to carry the responsibility that comes with it. The lion does not chase. It occupies its ground and the rest of the forest adjusts.

The prosperity described in this Odu is therefore not only material. It is the settled authority of a person who has stopped negotiating with their own destiny. When Ogbe Oyeku appears in a reading, the advice is usually to stop looking for a way around the difficulty and to take up the position that is already yours.
